18-55 STM vs 18-135 STM

Interested in an STM lens for my 70D just for indoor video...how does the IQ of the 18-55 compare to the 18-135? I mostly just want a light lens for video with STM so I don't get as much focus drive noise inside.

I have both of the STM versions of these lenses.

They are both very quiet. Quieter, I have read, than the 40mm STM pancake.

They both produce very good images and video. I have not used the 18-55 STM much since getting the 18-135 STM. It is a very good lens. According to some of the the charts it's up there with the 15-85 but I have never used that lens to compare directly.

Well, a seller on eBay is selling the 18-55 new white box for $130, too good to pass up for a video lens.

I got the same price on a new white box 18-55 STM that was listed on Amazon. It was listed under the used category but the seller stated that it was new and it came with a one year warrantee and free shipping.

I believe the IQ is about the same as my 15-85.
