EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II for $2k (pre-rebate) @ BH

Surprised no one posted this yet...

BH has the lens for $2k now (it appears that it's only this lens that they discounted in this way?) So, after rebate you're looking at $1700.

It's the same price as posted previously for Amazon and Best Buy, but the big advantage is that there are more people that wouldn't have to pay tax through BH, and we're talking $100-200 of tax depending on where you live.

Anyway, there you go. Best time there ever has been to get your dream lens!

you'll probably not see this kind of price until next winter man. heck, these things sell USED for $1900 on these forums. you'd profit by $200 if you just sold it in 4 months... need more encouragement?
