I got my 10D about a month ago. I had been shooting Large JPEG till two weeks ago. I started shooting Raw and was very disappointed with the results from FVU. I then switched to BreezeBrowser. I use Linear conversion with no post processing. I then open it up in Photshop Elements, adjust the levels using the histogram, crop and resize, adjust color when needed, and then sharpen with USM. It's amazing that the dark, mildly fuzzy images that result from linear conversion can come out to be as beautiful as anything I've ever shot with my F5.

I wonder how many of the complaints about out of focus shots are due to failure to appreciate the importance of sharpening. I have to go back and redo a bunch of shots from a basketball game two weeks ago that I thought were out of focus. I redid one of them yesterday with USM set at 200, 2, 0. It was beautiful. Tack sharp.

Just sharing the joy!
