Help with red eye

I was hoping someone would be able to help me get rid of the red eye in this picture. I know it's not a great picture but its one of the only ones I have of my grandmothers dog that passed away several years ago. I tried but it doesnt look quite right. Thanks for any help!

Do you have th raw file ? it could be better with the raw file.
