hi all,tried a few shots at the local bmx skatepark,any tips on comp and pp on this type of image.thanx

I don't know why, but I don't really care for the composition here. You did it right in that you left room in front of the bike for the action to "continue", but for some reason I just don't love it. I don't know, I think I understand what you were trying to achieve by shooting just the bike and including the shadow (which I love btw), but I think I would like this better if you had included the whole rider in the image. Just my opinion though. As far as PP, I would lower the exposure since it's seems pretty bright and increase your contrast to accentuate the shadows and graffiti, plus it will add depth to the image. Again, just my suggestion..


FYI: "Fitness Freak" is also known as "Amber" outside of POTN.

thanx for the tips,i to like to include shadows in the shots,i have a few shots with the rider also,i was going for the mystery of not having the rider,ill try your sigestions and play with the pp.thanx again for the tips
