This is a recent Restoration we did on Elverne Pfeiffer's old A/Gas ’41 Willys coupe. The car was finished this past Summer. These photo's were taken shortly after finishing the build, but before the car was numbered and lettered. I have another shoot scheduled with this car soon.

Magnifico. I remember the day when just about every hot rodding magazine had a Willys gasser on the cover.

You may have seen this car in Hot Rod back in the 60's! This car was in Hot Rod Magazine back in May of 1965 as Best Engineered Car at NHRA's National Championship Race. Here's a link. http://www.lo-manrods.com/willys.html (external link) The article is the second row down third pic from left.

BEAUTIFUL! I like how the tips of the headers are perfectly parallel to the lower edge of the fender. Now that's attention to detail. :)
As an aside, it would seem this car has spent more time on the track than it ever has on the road. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

They are Hilborn, but they are electronic. The engine builder recommended the electronic set up since the car was going to be driven on the street more than on the track now.
