Hi,

I found what i considered to be the "purchase of the century" on ebay so i thought - 100% feedback and good selling pitch, i decided to go for it, but after 20 lenses were sold including my purchase, this eve i checked my purchases and its been taken down, and ebay have told me to give it some time for delivery(possible)????

Not good times:cry::cry::cry:

I got burned on ebay a month or so ago. Was it a hassle? Sure. But it was resolved in the end. Did you use a cc through PayPal?

That would have been quite a deal! I am a sucker for a good deal, too. So I can imagine I would have been tempted, as well.

I'm waiting for an "like new" 85L to show up for $499.;)

Sorry for your disappointment, but there will always be people like those you dealt with.

My sister, the professional baker and cake decorator once told me that my camera takes great pics. My reply was that I thought her oven baked great cakes.:lol:

but after 20 lenses were sold

I would have been looking to see if that person had ever sold camera equipment. If not, and with multiple lenses being sold at a "purchase of the century" price, it's 99.9999% probable that it was an account hijack or a "smash and grab"?
