ecce_lex Senior Member 356 posts Likes: 4 Joined Jan 2010 Location: 46.2, 6.1 More info | On oct 18th, date of the eclipse, the Moon was also at maximum libration East (longitude: 5.27°), meaning the Eastern limb was tipped into view and one can see details otherwise hidden. Schrodinger's cat walked into a bar - and didn't.
