My workflow is as follows:

import to LR > edit in LR > further edit in PS > export to 3 different locations:

a) 5-star images get uploaded onto facebook in a certain album
b) All images get exported to local HDD in full-res, quality 85
c) All images get exported to Skydrive folder (for online backup/viewing purposes) in 2000px, file-size restricted to 500kb/each

while i have configured presets for each of the scenarios above, i still find myself doing quite a bit of manual work.

for instance, after keying in the custom names for the folder and images themselves for b), i need to repeat this step for preset c) as well. is there any way i can automate this step too? better yet, have a preset that can handle all 3 scenarios in 1 click?

hope it's not too much to ask for. TIA! :)

To be clear, are you saying you edit all your images in Photoshop after Lightroom? Is this the purpose of step b)? I'm asking, because I actually don't resort to Photoshop much. I keep my originals, do an export for Web use, and then backup the originals as needed.

Create virtual copies, apply your presets, select them all, then export them.

sorry i didn't make it clear - i put 4-stars for images i want to further edit (e.g. skin retouching), save as tiff, and delete the original raws that come with it thereafter.

i don't keep the raws because in my years of shooting, i've never found the need to go back to my raws, be it to try a new editing style or to generate higher quality lossy files for use.

how would using this workflow be able to help me avoid the extra steps as mentioned?

It automatically exports to the same folder with a hyphen and sequential after the filename. So filename-1.jpg, filename-2.jpg, filename-3.jpg etc.

there is actually no difference from what i mentioned then.

After using Preset b), e.g. keying in the custom file name (Christmas 001.jpg, in C:\13-12-25 Christmas Celebration), i'd have to repeat the same step for preset c).

this step is repeated for every new shoot which i have.
