Rigid case for multiple filters

Been looking for a rigid case to hold three round lens filters at a time. Just want a little more protection than wallets offer. I've also bought the old school vinyl/cardboard type for large and small diameter filters, but they're too flimsy. Isn't there something on the market of durable plastic for more than one filter?

I just bought a set of "end caps" that you screw on to the filter, you can stack them as long as they are the same size and have threads. $ 16.

Yes - filter stack caps work great; compact & very convenient (although a bit heavier once you stack more than 3 filters per cap). Use them for all my B+W filters: ND, CPL & UV...

P.S. The machining/workmanship standard may sometimes vary a bit on the stack caps, so I found it a good idea to take a cloth or lint-free paper towel and rub the cloth/towel around all stack cap threads minimizing or eliminating any burrs which could cause the cap to stick closed & unable to open without a filter wrench.

That's actually a great concept but it seems I could do something even better with a couple old filters and some carbon fiber plate for about the same or less moolah.

Yes it just depends on ones economic comparative advantage equation (TIME = MONEY). I'm more prophicient with a camera than tools, so for $10-15/ea I’d rather be shooting!

Thanks for the additional input, Mary. I'm liking this the more I think about it.

Caps are great but cpl's can be a pain because they spin. I use them on my filters and throw them in the grey L lens bag with my 1.4 tc

CAPHOTOG - I tried the fabric filter wallets too and the nice B+W’s OEM vinyl/polyethylene square containers, both take up too much room in my camera bag or a waist pouch.
(While the filter stack cap concept is many decades old - it still works.)
Only one viewpoint, everyone has to find what works best for their needs and efficient work flow.

JOEKELLEY – regarding CPL’s, I initially had the same reaction, but found CPL’s fine with a few attempts (i.e. it is all in how/where you hold your fingers on the CPL & wrist action).
Perhaps I have an advantage re: CPL’s, being a petite female with therefore petite hands.

My DIY version of the filter caps is a normal lens cap on one end, and a POS UV filter on the other.
The only thing I don't like about the cap system, is the filters then take up the room of a small lens in the bag.
I'd like filter wallets that had more rigid exteriors.
