First attempt at HDR

Been a while since I've been on this forum. Here is my first attempt at HDR. Picture taken at the Cote des Neiges Cemetery in Montreal on a grey day! Using Canon's EF 50mm f/1.8 lens.

Is this from a single photo and not bracketed exposure? I ask because the sky is still over exposed. Also, are the tombstones blue in real life?

This photo is from braketing, the tombs are not that blue in real life!

image look pretty good just crop out the over exposed sky a bit,i looked at the image cropped looks good.what software did u use to make the hdr

Here is my second attempt at this picture, tried to clear up the sky and removed the blueish tint on the tombs. Lost some colors in the trees!!!

I used Photomatix, Lightroom5 and photoshop CS6.

I like this one better, partially due to the subject matter with the more muted colors. But that dark gray area in the sky is distracting. Love the tree; very creepy looking.

Have you tried the fusion options in Photomatix, vs just tone mapping?

I'm not sure how your bracketing could get such a blown out sky, what were your settings?

I would go back and try to re-shoot this...
