My Epson R1800 has just given up the ghost and I have ordered the Epson R2000, I had the paper profiles for Red River paper when I was using the RR paper in thr 1800. So my question is will the profiles still be there in Photo Shop when I get the new printer or will I have to down load them again?

Didn't the profiles specify the printer model? Or did they specify a "range" of models that includes the R2000? I'm asking 'cause I don't know, but if they are model-specific to the R1800, then yeah, it would make sense to download profiles for the R2000!

Good question, I never thought about that, I assumed the profiles were for Red River paper and Epson inks. I will give RR a call today.

Thank you Tony you are correct. I had to go into the root directory and delet the profiles for the R1800 then when I get the R2000 hooked up download the profiles for that.
