Spending the last week with a new 70D has changed my mind about some features I thought were "gimmicks". I thought a swivel screen, and touch to focus were features I would never take advantage of. I am more of a viewfinder, thumbwheel traditionalist (at least so I thought) I can tell you all for sure, that I cut down on the number of throwaway shots dramatically because the swivel screen allowed me to compose perfectly almost every time. The servo focus in live view actually works and works well !! So much for my old school way of thinking (and I am not even that old :lol
