Steve Aoki

Finally got in to shoot an Aoki show. Aoki's people kept my editor waiting until the last minute for approval but I eventually got my pass without a problem. The stage lighting wasn't as spectacular as most EDM shows I've shot, so I took advantage of the low stage and got a lot of close-up shots.

I was out of the pit after the third song, so I wasn't in good position to get any cake tossing shots. Same goes for the inflatable raft at the end of the set.

Thanks Benon, over a year later though looking back on these, they look a little too bright. I'd probably dial back the brightness + saturation a tad if I re-did them now.

yeah maybe a tad on the hot side (on his cheeks on some mainly)
