Although I often stalk egrets looking for interesting shots, this one was actually on the side of the road near my house this Saturday. I took the opportunity to get some close-ups from the comfort of my car. After several shots, I noticed a bee hovering around the bird. The bee kept buzzing the egret for at least 4 minutes. I got several keepers and can't decide which one I like best, so I thought I would share a few shots:

Crazy little bee! I hate bees. They're so annoying and disrespectful! They just buzz buzz buzz. And sting. Not good creatures for sure.

My favorites are 4 and 6.

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.
