Thinking of printing this one. In fact, thinking of trying a gallery wrap with it.

Thoughts? Comments?

I think you need to brighten up those clouds. They look like rain clouds to me.

Overall I like the shot. Nice fall colors.

Looks like a beautiful scene, wish I had stuff like this to shoot :(

As posted seems kinda dull and lifeless though, as well as softer in the trees then you would expect. Here's my take on it:

One of the biggest things was I noticed was a lot of cyan in the trees...

Thanks. I had pulled a lot of blue / cyan out of the back hill (small one way in the back) but had never looked at the main trees. I will have a look.

Thanks so much guys. Went back and edited the blues, clouds, brightness and sharpness. What a difference!! At work now but I will post a more final version in the next couple days. Guess I was just afraid to push it to far.

Looking forward to seeing what you can do with the original :)

Nice colors, but I think it needs a bird in the upper left. ; )

I think the contrast could be toned down just a bit for my taste.

Hey, did you just give me the bird? :)

I plan to print this on canvas so the colors and contrast will wind up a little more subdued in the final print.

Thanks for looking!

The shot definitely needs something like that bird. There's nothing drawing the eye into the shot as it stands. Whether its in quite the right spot in Genes example is debatable but it definitely improves it.
