I have it narrowed down to one of the two titled cameras. Any users of either have specific recommendations or condemnations?

Any users of either have specific recommendations or condemnations? Dedicated APS-c shooter. Gripped 60D, 60 2.8, 10-22, 15-85, Σ70-200 OS and a big white something or other! Plus a 5D w/28-75.

As far as IQ goes, the Panny only beats the SX50 because of the f/2.8 lens. Shoot them both at the same aperture and Canon's sensor and NR routine will beat the Panny everytime. The Canon is a tad better at stills. The Panny is better at video, burst rate, aperture. The Panny is also 25% more $$$. I really don't need 1200mm. I am leaning toward the Panny, but the Canon will do ETTL with my 430EX II. The Panny won't. Still debating. Dedicated APS-c shooter. Oct 23, 2013 07:27 | #7 I'd personally go with the Lumix FZ200. I like that constant f/2.8 aperture across the whole 25-600mm zoom range. It can also do full HD movies and has 12fps capability as well.
