Hi guys anyone know why this happen.. When I want to print something in photoshop CS6 (haven't tried nothing more) the print preview is like this

IMAGE: http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5346/10279070233_aca38c12af_b.jpg

However the print itself is good.

I always choose photoshop manages color. My printer is Canon Pro-100

Is there anyway to "fix" this ?
Thanks.

What you've displayed isn't Photoshop's print preview but the preview inside the Canon IJ Preview application. I wonder if it's only an issue with the preview that could be related to the Canon IJ Preview software not being properly color managed. Do you happen to have a wide gamut monitor calibrated to full gamut?

If there's a way to do it I'd turn that particular preview off and just use Photoshop's print preview instead. If you go File -> Print -> "Print Settings" (in Printer Setup section at upper right of screen) it will call up the printer driver. I'd expect under one of the tabs there will be a check-box for "Print Preview". That should be unchecked.

Ohh yeah my bad I never saw the title of the program.. Then yeah is the Canon IJ Preview....

Well I'm still using an old Dell Trinitron CRT calibrated with pantone huey pro. The prints match around 90~95% of what I see under photoshop.

Now the tricky part would be how to correct that IJ Preview..

Pretty certain you can disable it from popping up by unchecking Print Preview in the Canon printer driver. It's not a feature that's needed for PS or LR.

Here's something from Red River Paper: http://www.redrivercatalog.com/profiles/bulletin.htm (external link)

It's likely not a color managed preview and I doubt there is anything you can do to "correct" it. If your working space isn't sRGB or if your monitor is wide gamut then the preview colors won't be correct.

Having it pop up would be a nusiance anyway since PS already shows you a properly color managed preview. For my Epson printer the preview is unchecked by default :)

That "preview" is not intended for previewing color or tonality. It is merely for verifying the placement on the sheet, margins, etc.
