First of all, i am sorry. I posted this photo in the Nature thread, but i think it was the wrong place for it. I am looking forward to read some comments, ideas and ways to make the photo better, so i think the "Critique Corner" is the right place for the photo.

A little bit about the photo:
The other day, while jogging in the forest, i found this Teepee (i think it was built by Boyscouts). I thought it would be cool to light paint it, so i went back and got this photo:

I would love to know what you think about it...

As to the composition, i am quite happy. While doing the photo i couldn't see that little tree there on the right side (it was REALLY dark out there), but there's not much i can do about it now...
But i am looking forward to have your opinion mostly regarding the color and brightness of the photo. I don't have a calibrated monitor, and i have heard several times that i don't really get it right (surelly mostly my fault, not the monitor's!! ;) )

Anyway, i had lots of fun doing this photo and i am looking forwadr to going out again in the night to do some more Light Painting!
If any of you is interested in knowing anything else about the photo, please just ask...

Thanks!
=)

Overall, I think it's pretty nice. The only two things that jump out at me as far as criticisms are that you've cut off the light rings on the right hand tree (you mentioned the small tree in front of it, but I don't think that's a big deal) and the sky is looking really purple. I think it's just chromatic aberration, but it's tough to say for sure without seeing a higher-res version. Could be white balance.

i thought a couple of times about making that sky darker (i have several photos that were taken a bit later with much darker, almost black, skies...). Is that sky distracting?

Perhaps it's just me.

The biggest tree (lit yellow in the teepee) where it is lit blue above - looks like bits of sky showing through - perhaps these are just leaves lit brightly (can't see much detail at this size), but to me it looks like it is transparent!

Ah, yes, i see what you mean. Those are some leaves that are also lit. In a bigger version of the photo you can see it well, but here i can understand how it can look like it is the sky...

Thanks, it was something i wouldn't have noticed on my own!
