Haven't really read at all about converting to black and white. Just hit the button on Lightroom and played with the sliders. How'd it come out?

To me it look kind of too flat i would bump up the black just a little bit more and some whites.

I would clone out the loose hair that makes it look like the lady has a hairy chest. Just sayin'
