Thanks for the pointers JT. Always good to remind myself of the basics.

Thanks Mark. WIthout the sense of speed...they are just parked cars on the track. It was fun shooting through the crowds, I have not gotten to do that before at RA.

John gave me some 'tips' on that a few years ago. He is a good teacher. Dark blacks with no detail also show a BUNCH of noise.


We were three wheelin' our golf cart the whole weekend as well!

No worries TRhoads, I have only ever shot from the spectator side of the fence so use the crowd to an extent on my images, check my site if you get chance.

I have shot RA from both sides of the fence and there are some shots you just can't get from anywhere but the spectator side...
