I'm excited. I've got a 2010 MBP that has been wonderful, but it is starting to feel the strain of new softwares. The specs look like a major leap forward and, honestly, barring some world shattering new tech (quantum desktops?), should last me for a while.

It is an INCREDIBLE computer...literally can last 10+ years.

Flash drive with 1.2gb read and 1.0gb write, 3x 4k display work, up to 64gb of ram, dual 6gb gpus...heaven for photographers and directors

Silent, tiny, cool, expandable, super affordable price too, apple is winning right now

It is over the top awesome ! Video is the next wave of popular digital media. Meaning there is a growing prosumer market. As 4K seems to be the new standard coming down the line Apple built a machine that will endure for at least the next few years. This machine is expensive, but not over the top expensive (cheaper than a 5D MKIII)

What's the price?

It's $2,999 for the base model (quad-core Xeon E5, 12GB RAM, 256GB flash drive), $3,999 for the hex core with 16GB RAM.

Keyboard and mouse not included!
