I don't post too much on POTN since becoming a member five or six years ago but I thought I should share a few of my personal favorites. I have shot my last and final wedding, and I am surely going to miss dripping in sweat all day, leg cramps post wedding, hauling all of my heavy equipment around and of course the anxiety and paranoia. [JK seriously though I do enjoy the whole process] The part about shooting weddings I will miss the most is the connection with the entire Bridal Party by the end of the night. Photographing weddings has most certainly been one of the most challenging things I have ever done. It is time for me to move on and ride off into the sunset... I tip my hat to all of the Professional Wedding Photographers out there.....Cheers!

Awesome images. Any reason in particular for exiting the scene?

Only explanation I can offer is my career has taken a different turn. Completely unrelated to photography all together.

Right on! Good luck to you.

I thought I was the only one that got leg cramps!

I've seen lots of post about first wedding but never seen a one on final wedding. Base on that creativity alone you should remain in the business. :)

Word.
I don't envy you about the long days and lugging gear around...or going through the 1800 photos, but you're work is really good :)
