Does anyone have any real information on when the 10d will be supported by ACR? I called Adobe today and they wouldn't tell me anything at all. "We have no information on when or even if the plugin will be updated to add support for this or any other camera", or words to that effect. Rrriiiggghhht.

In the meantime, does anyone have any suggestions for what to use to do the conversions? The Canon software does not help me because I cannot see the effect of my changes immediately, and next to the original.

I've heard rummors that Adobe PhotoSHop 8.0 will have support for Canon 10D and will ship together with Adobe Camera Raw Plug-In included in the package.

I "fixed" my ACR by slightly modifying the registry and it works GREAT!!! I think ACR has a line for the D30 and D60 and you just take one of those and modify it. I love it. There are links elsewhere I believe in this forum that direct you where to go for the fix. I think you can find it at fredmiranda.com and also robgalbrath.com. It is quick and easy AND it works. I think Adobe has a trial for ACR and you can do the "fix" and see if it works ok for you. If it does, then you just buy ACR as it is, enter the code and it is already fixed for you.

I'm using Capture One DSLR Limited Edition which goes for $99. It works in real-time and provides a lot of control over RAW files.

I should have mentioned that I already purchased ACR to use with my Powershot G2, and it works great for that. I have seen the "fixes" that allow you to use it with the 10D. However, I have also seen that the color is not quite right with the 10D if you use a "fixed" ACR Plugin. None of the pages describing the "fix" address how to correct the color.

I need the plugin as I am using Photoshop Elements, not Photoshop, so including it in Photoshop 8 does me, and MANY other 10D customers, no good.
