To me the photo looks slightly blurred, so in checking the EXIF data, I see the shutter speed was 1/50 and the focal length 500mm. Seems like a slow shutter to be shooting that focal length... as well as such a small bird. I see you were also at ISO1000 and f/6.3. Must have been less than desirable lighting conditions. all in all though, a nice shot.
