Upgrade dilemma

I have a mid-2012 MBP 13" non-retina. When I bought it, I just got the base model. I am about to have a $200 credit at BH, so I have a couple options:

1 - Upgrade to 120g SSD and 8gb ram
2 - upgrade to 16gb ram
3 - Upgrade to 120gb SSD and then save for a short bit and upgrade to 16gb ram

I have a 21.5 iMac but since I got the MBP I have pretty much solely used it for editing, but that is also because I don't have the iMac set-up in a good workstation at the moment.

I use photoshop, illustrator and iMovie mostly right now (what would Lightroom do for me, I have never used it).

Where is your current computer lacking?

Option 4: upgrade to rMBP (13 or 15) with minimum of 8GB and 500GB SSD. You want256 for boot/OS/apps and still have 200GB+ for data. Look for a a 2012 rMBP on close out. Check the price lists at www.appleinsider.com. If you purchase at B&H, a good choice, you should be able to use the credit. You can sell your current MBP on Gazelle or other site.

#1 will get you the most bang for the buck. 16GB is overkill for the vast majority of people.
