Kaktovik Polar Bears

Got to fly up to Kaktovik for the day in late September. An amazing place. Ended up seeing around 30 bears. 22 was the most we saw at one time. The bear viewing is boat based so we got got extra lucky with the great weather. It had snowed about 4" before we got there.

the bears are sitting around waiting for the ice so they can get out and hunt some seals.
