Well i'm almost ready to throw in the towel on inkjet printing. I absolutely love my Epson R1900 however it has come to the point where unless i bring the cost down, its not worth it anymore for me. Before I throw in the towel (I have $400 worth of paper left) I thought I would try a 3rd party ink. Image specialist ink seems to be an option sold through a supplier here in Canada (precision color). Seems to be cost effective enough for me to give it a try. Anyone had any experience with these refillable dye based inks cartridges? I'm tired of supporting Epson's thievery.
