Elizabeth, video tape, and painted shoes

I had this idea tinkering around in my head for a while after destroying some old client materials that included ancient VHS tapes. I waited for just the right model and just the right project, which of course was going to include painted shoes. (I'm an artist for Hourglass Footwear and sort of the de facto in-house photographer.)

Wardrobe, hair, makeup by me; some of the shoes were painted by me, a couple by some other artists with the company. We had a good time.

Great concept, and it seems to work best of all in the pic with model in the gold dress. Beautiful image with the light reflecting off the film.
