The Google + site says if you already own the collection you will get this "automatically for free". There is a hangout on Google+ tonight from 6 - 6:45 pacific time

I saw that, just not sure the automatic checker/installer was part of the Nik package in the past. I e-mailed them, will report what I her, if I hear anything. Maybe it will just show up, I'll do a restart later today. Usually never shut the computer down.

When Google bought Nik out earlier this year, they sent out emails to previous purchasers. In that email was a link to download the Nik Collection. They now validate eligibility to download and use the product via the email system and no longer use product keys.

I used the link in my email and everything went very smoothly on my desktop and laptop. On their FAQ on the Google/Nik site, it states if you do not have the enabling email I referred to that you can contact them and I imagine they will resend one to you once they establish you are eligible.

I have also read on another site that if you just hit the "try" button and download, and install, if you have a previously authorized collection of the programs on your computer that they will be upgraded and the new Analog Efex will be added. I cannot verify that as I used the email link I described above.

I bought the collection a few months ago and was wondering if this can be downloaded yet?

Thanks for this great post and heads-up! I,too, am waiting to see if it auto-appears or what I have to do to add it. Bought mine a few months back, too.

Yes as previously said you can just download the entire suite again from the Try button and reinstall. I just did that. Mine was showing no signs of auto updating and I was getting impatient!

Just email customer support with your product key codes and they will send you a customized download link for you specifically.

There are no product key codes. At least not for many.

If you have the Nik software now and haven't gotten a free update an alternative method is to go to the Nik/Google website and click on the button to download the trial version of Analog Efex Pro. This should update your collection to include Analog Efex at no charge. DO NOT UNINSTALL any of your existing Nik software in the process.
