A Tilt-Shift macro would fit in the range very well.

A lens with apodization filter like the Sony 135 STF - they have a patent for such a lens.
Or a lens with adjustable spherical abberation correction like the Nikkor 135/2DC and 105/2DC.
It gives more creative freedom when one can use different bokeh illumination.

In the mean time till they have such, I do more tinkering on soft bokeh (external link)apodization filtering and spherical abberation front/back bokeh control (external link).

Canon used to have an EF 135mm soft-focus lens, but I think it went out of production.

If this lens exits and similar quality and price as 100mm L, then I will buy one.

That is exactly what I had in mind, a 55mm f/2 twin of the 100L lens, contrasty and sharp from the get-go. That would be an epic lens.

It has not much control range in both to get both under and over corrected spherical abberation.

EF 12-24 f/4L

EF 100-400L IS MKII

EF-S 22mm f/2.8 pancake -- would get me to consider a Rebel SL1 as a light weight camera

What about an EFS 22mm pancake,

take away the S, and that's what I'd like to see.

well, that and for the 24-70 mkII to cost half as much as it does.

For the price of that thing, you could get a seat on the next Virgin spacecraft flight and shoot it on your 6D and current lenses...
