There is a bit of confusion concerning the sizing rules of our challenges that I feel needs to be addressed.

A few weeks ago, a thread was created and members of our community discussed the size rulings of the contest. Before we had it where members could post any images with any size under 200K with no more than 800 pixels on the longest side, this gave everyone freedom and also helped those who might've still been a bit leary about getting into the nitty gritty of photoshop or paintshop an option.

However, this instates a bit of a problem; no consistancy is being exhibitted whilest the contestees are all posting different sized images and such allows for one to hide imperfections in his or her own picture (ex. an out focus subject, blurryness and noise to name a few.) This in turn can skew judging.

This is why I've enforced the rule as it helps the judge separate the good pictures from the bad and makes the contest more fair, and I know judging these pictures is hard enough, so I've set out to make your jobs easier.
