Hey guys.
I own a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 and I love it. But I'm now thinking of getting a used Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8 Mark I to replace the 50.
Is this a good choice? Need recommendations.

It is colossally big and heavy, and very prone to problems. You already have wide covered with your 17-40, why not go for something longer like an 85 or 135?
