Saw this place in an earlier post and since I was going to West Virginia anyway, thought I would make the extra trip to Babcock State Park...

I actually bought a photo of this gristmill at a crafts show. I hope to get out there some time to get my own shot. Great find. I hope you got many other compositions.

I had a friend that her sister ran the Babcock state park restaurant across the stream from the gristmill. Great place to have breakfast or any other meal. My friend and I caught several rainbow trout and put them in a bag of collected snow and took them up and had really fresh rainbow for brunch.

Thanks very much!

... and you probably will see me at Viera. In fact, I was there late this morning checking out the conditions.

I like the composition in this. Most of the photos I've seen of this particular mill are all cropped in MUCH closer to the mill so that you basically see the little waterfall there and the mill and they appear pretty close together. I love that you found a way to shoot this differently. Nicely done!

FYI: "Fitness Freak" is also known as "Amber" outside of POTN.
