Opinions needed!! I'm submitting for a group show, the theme of which is travel photography. I'm allowed to submit up to 5 images and I have 7 that I can't make up my mind about.

Would anyone care to tell me which ones I should include and/or exclude? I love all of them for various reasons, but I need objective opinions to know which are actually the strongest or weakest. If it matters, they're from 3 (out of 5) different trips to India and all of them except the first were taken with my 5D classic and either the 17-40L or the Tamron 28-75.

If this is for a competition (prize/money), then #2 for sure.

Thanks guys. It's not a competition, just a show. But out of all of these yes that one is indeed my favorite! :)

I just need to eliminate 2 of the 7 images. I can submit up to 5, and may as well take advantage of those 5. The girl with the magical eyes is a given, she's definitely going in.

The ones I'm mostly leaning towards getting rid of are 4 (the Taj Mahal) and 7 (the Red Fort). But I'm hardly objective here. They all have a lot of meaning to me, obviously.

I would drop the first one because of the distracting motion blur on the woman, and your third one. Cool photo but it seems that your lens was focused on the wall behind the men leaving them slightly OOF.

i dont like #4 because with the framing and no personal touch, its merit lies in the lines and shapes HOWEVER, youre a little bit off center and theres no way to correct the Taj in the doorway...

just sayin, since you asked...

Thanks everyone. I ended up ditching #4 and #7. I figured that 4 was pretty much the weakest link but wasn't sure what else.

The main objective is visual impact, artistic impression and "storytelling" vs. technical perfection or the lack thereof (such as the motion blur of the woman in #1, which I happen to like in that instance but to each their own, and the noise in #4). But, everything helps in the decision making process.

Thanks again :)
