I just brought a strobe and first attempt on a high-key picture. I am not sure if I got it right or not. If you can provide some c&c that will be great.

Thanks for replying. I did increase the white but not that much. I have attached the original file with no post-processing. Please let me know you input to make it a better high-key picture.

I wouldn't really consider these high key images. Rather they are portraits on a white BG.

Nicely done but you do have some bleed through/over on her hair. Looks like you pushed the BG lights too much.

Agree with Dave here, these are not high-key images.....
If anything the model seems to have very little real white to her and appears dull compared to the white background.

Thanks everyone for their input. How do I go about making a highkey picture? I am assuming that my background is not bright enough.

I think that "high key" would mean the primary subject is intentionally overexposed. In these images, your primary subject is normally exposed, so they are not high key.
