Carter - Senior 2014

Since taking up the wedding scene, I haven't promoted the senior business too much but I do miss working with the kids. He LOVES his pictures.

Great work. What lighting setup did you use?

These are dynamite. I can see why he'd be pleased with these.

The only tiny thing I'd correct is in # 6 is there is something going on with the front corner of his jacket...just to the left of his hand, some light.....not sure.

Thanks! I used an einstein by it self in a 50 in apollo for the first "outdoor" series. Then I switched to a beauty dish for the edgier urban work.

Thank you! Im not sure what that is... It almost looks like the hem flipped out from his jacket. Oh well.

First three are OK then the rest are out of the ball park with the tuxes being grand slams.

They all look nice, but I don't care for what seems to be a short focal length on #3. Looks like you shot below 30mm there and he's got a little bit of the bulbous head look. A little nitpicky though.

Not at all. Its actually 50mm but I am rather close so the distortion is there. I rather like that look for certain images and in particular, for men like I did here. It's 100% intentional. Thanks for the feedback.
