I just upgraded from a Canon 20D to the new Canon Mark IIN. I have also upgraded to PhotoShop CS2. I can open my RAW images from the 20D to convert them in PhotoShop CS2. I can NOT open the RAW images from the Mark II N camera. I get an error message stating "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document."

I have not loaded any of the software that came with the camera. They are the EOS Digital Solution Disk and EOS Digital Instruction Manual. They seem to be for using Canon's software to convert the images.

I must be setting the camera up wrong. I have set it up to shot both RAW and L jpeg photos.

What am I doing wrong to get Photoshop to recognize my RAW images? Any help would be appreciated.

Upgrade to Camera Raw 3.3, which can be found in the downloads area of the Adobe web site. Earlier versions of Camera Raw don't understand 1D Mark II N RAW files.

OK David, you are a genius! Thanks.

I downloaded Camera Raw 3.3 as you mentioned, extracted it, rebooted my computer and YEEHAW PhotoShop CS2 opened my RAW image from the Mark II N card.

Thanks. I have not used the forum before but it really helped me out.
