The camera bodies are very small and light. nothing like my t3i or my 5d2 gripped. the pictures that they took were nice and the owner of the store told me the best moon picture he had ever taken was with the Sony a7r with a ef 500 L I am tempted to get one but My 5Dmk 2 Does everything that I need at least to my knowledge. I am also tempted into getting the 5d MK III . But I am a hobby photographer and have lots of gear that I am not using to full use any way. If I was starting out all over then I think it would be the a7r. Farmer The A7 & A7R have a 3" screen (same as your 5D2). Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

Your shots lately have been insane. I actually was this close to snagging a fd 24 2.8 off craigslist but it sold right out from under me. Sony A7

I missed out on a good deal on the Voigtlander 35mm 1.2. Yea the 24 2.8 is pretty decent. I use it from time to time when I dont need the low light capabilities, otherwise I just throw on the 24L II. The camera is perfect for landscapes and things that dont move too quick. I personally find it difficult to manually focus at wide apertures quick enough to catch my fast moving son. For this reason I am about to purchase a 5D3 to compliment the Sony. Depending on what you mostly shoot this may not be an issue for you. The IQ and dynamic range cant be faulted though I don't remember the screen being that big on the a7r.
