^thanks. Yea I've been thinking of picking that one up. I missed out on a good deal on the Voigtlander 35mm 1.2. Yea the 24 2.8 is pretty decent. I use it from time to time when I dont need the low light capabilities, otherwise I just throw on the 24L II.

The 35 1.4 is a great bargain I would recommend getting one if you get the chance! With the 24L do you manual focus or are you using a metabones adapter for autofocus? I have been really curious on opinions on the autofocus speed and use with the metabones.

With the 24L I usually manually focus even though I do have the metabones adaptor. The AF is just as slow as when you are on live view on a DSLR. its tolerable for landscape and product photography if you need AF.

i made the jump after 5 months of thinking whether to get it or not...good thing i waited though since the a7s came out within that time....and BAM.....sig says it....

holding on to the canon glass to see if i am going to make the jump to getting a metabones...but for now...i am really just happy with the kit lens and the incoming voigt i cant wait to play with....probably will get the 55 1.8 soon as well....

i saw a few posts asking what adapter to use for Leica M mount (which is pretty much Voigts as well). I suggest you get the Hawks Factory Version 5.

You can try the cheap china knockoffs for 50-80 dollars a piece but going Hawks might be the best price to quality compromise.

Essentially, the Hawks will allow you to focus close with your Leica/Voigt glass removing one of the annoying traits of these lenses....

Thats exactly the reason why i havent gotten my voigt, coz im waiting for the shipment of the adapter from Taiwan.

Is anyone using the Sony Zeiss 135mm f1.8 with the a7 series?
Can we see some shots? I have a great interest in this lens.

Think new Canon lenses are overpriced? Lots (and lots) of data will set you free!

I so far have a cheapo $15 leica m mount adapter on my A7 and have had no complaints beyond not being able to focus super close. The following images were shot with my Voigt 35 and $15 adapter.
