IT WORKS GREAT!! Sorry no pics now as i am in the office but i just got the voigt an hour or 2 ago and tested the MFD with and without the helicoid. with the helicod and a 40mm nokton, it allowed me to take a photo of the lens cap less than a foot away. This is easily worth its price.

There are cheaper helicoids actually i just cant find any where i am from and even the hawks i just happened to come across. So if you can grab the cheaper ones then by all means try it out. Just make sure there is no oil in the gears, you wouldnt want that dripping on your sensor. The hawks version 5 is very clean.
