These street photos look really great! Terrific contrast and sharpness. Are you shooting jpegs or RAW?

I just received the metabones adapter today. Here are a few shots with the A7r and the 50L and 85L wide open. With the adapter, the maximum aperture on both lenses is f1.3.

I've been driving my family crazy and they are not cooperating.

How is the AF with the metabones adapter? Interesting about the f/1.3 max aperture.

^David, nice shots. How easy is it to Manual Focus on A7 ? I am using lots of MF lenses with 5Dc with AF confirm adapter. Wondering if MF experience will be better with A7(r).

How is the AF with the metabones adapter? Interesting about the f/1.3 max aperture.

The autofocus with the adapter is very slow -- hunts back and forth. It will be adequate for stills and landscapes only.

Interestingly, I find the FE Zeiss 35 f2.8 to autofocus better than I expected with the A7r.

Manual focus is very nice and quite easy to get the hang of with focus peaking. In fact, it was the only way to get adequate focus on my kids with the adapter and EF lenses.

Yes the yellow-green ones. ;)

Whew, I thought my monitor was broken there for a moment. ;)

There doesn't seem to be much advantage the using the Metabones adapter with Canon lenses if it focuses so slowly that manual focus is the preferred method anyway. I believe dtufino is using a cheaper adaptor that's good for mf only? What adaptor is that again?
