You cant Post Process image Quality & Bokeh, guys.... the only editing i do to my street photography is resize and watermark them... i might edit one to black and white but that's about it when it comes to my street photography.
David, don't get me wrong, I find your street photos very pleasing and well composed and executed.
However, I see a faint telltale halo between the sharp subject and the bokeh in the background in almost every photo. I am not familiar with the Sony to know whether the contrast which is apparent in your photos is there in the RAW-equivalent, or there is some action which takes place and you may not be aware. Are these RAW or camera-produced jpegs?
And yes, you can process bokeh to death...
If you start with good enough image quality... I have some pretty badly executed proofs of concept done with a Ixus 960 (a P&S) showing a f1.2-style bokeh. I am sure that people more proficient in masking and brushes can do a more credible job than I can...
