I'll bet that view of Plaine du Rhône would be spectactular in the Spring as well.

It's been awhile but I had the chance to revisit the March Field Museum in Riverside County today. The last time I was there, I was with a buddy that was a bombardier on one of these over Japan during WWII.

So far, my Canon 17-40L is becoming my favorite lens to use with the Sony a7r.

By the way, I use the x-rite color checker passport to make a Lightroom color profile for my a7 today and I am very pleased with the color rendition of the a7 now. I had had some concerns about certain colors (some of my skies were looking very cyan), but the color profile fixes that to my satisfaction.

Just order X-Rite and more to learn!
Can't wait to see more from the OTUS.

You're welcome. My buddy did his bombardier training on B-17's although it may have been a "D" model rather than an "G".

Had another shoot at the John Varvatos headquarters to shoot Fall Fashion 2014 line.

These are a few behind the scenes shots taken with my Sony A7 + Canon 50mm FL 50mm f/1/4 (@1.4 and f/2)....

Wow, some terrific shots lately!

Tim: Love your architectural work lately; it's a great subject for winter shooting.

Jean-Marc: Amazing landscapes; must be fantastic to have such incredible scenery nearby!

Gene: Supercool airplane captures; they all look wonderful. The light is just better where you are!

David: Beautiful shots from that fashion setting! I really like that first shot if the shoes. :)

The weather was unseasonably nice in KC today (low 60s F), so I had a good outing with both a7 and 5D III today (hope to post some tomorrow). I love both cameras, but there's no question about it: when it comes to manual focusing, nothing is better than the a7 and a7R. On the 5D III I rely on the focus confirmation light and beep, and it is reasonably accurate at medium distances, but I get focusing errors on closer subjects. I'm not getting many errors with the a7 though.

Thank you David. Yes, I feel lucky to be so close to the heart of the Alps, quite some stunning areas around. I miss the US for the cityscaping though :p

Some awsome images on this page.

David T, I really like the dark tones used on the leather goods.

X-tan, beautiful marina and super capture of it.

Jean-Marc, I'll repeat myself...great landscape photography.

David A, I love your architectural photography. I wish I had buildings like that in my area.

Thanks, Jean-Marc, David & Gene!

Love the shoots from the OTUS, David!!

Checking some of my old shoots from a7R & 5D3, a7R can get lots more 'detail' from those overcast clouds so easy, but 5D3 just struggle as this shot:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/x_tan/11977047086/ (external link)

So I'll use my 5D3 for anything move; but a7R for most the landscape shoots.

BTW I sold my 5D2 over the weekend, now the zoom is on the market; next will be most the L prime.

Hi. As I am still waiting for my A7r, can someone recommend some cheap adapter from eBay? I,ve sent many messages to sellers, but all they reply is: it fits e mount, without confirming FF compatibility.
