Super fast AF like you get on most the regular DSLR's is not there but enough to get some nice pans on a small scale. Hopefully have a chance to try mine out at the F1, fingers crossed.

First light Sony A7R with 55mm FE 1.8 Zeiss :
SOOC Jpeg, no pp
first shot, sales lady at camera store:

using 100-400 mm on mechanical adapter helped by focus peaking of the Sony

Congrats! I hope this grey Sydney weather improves for you (I probably won't be shooting :( )

Meant to clear up for a bit this weekend! Got a wedding to shoot, maybe I'll sneak it along. Don't think I'm used to it enough yet to shoot on it for the day yet.

Took some snapshots this afternoon to test the Sony A7r AF under low light condition, it worked well on the 55FE lens.

^^Nice, almost feels like springtime around here. :D

This is a Plymouth Sedan but I'm not sure of the year. I believe it's from the early 1940's.

MY12 GTR or MY13 if you are in the US?

Looks like an Audi on the last. A7 or 8? Not clued up on Audis these days. Did you get any full shots of the cars wide open? I preferred around 85mm for a good car shot (non close up detail stuff)
