Lens help?

I currently shoot landscapes/portraits and sports and have rebuilt my kit with the 17-40L, 50 1.2L and 135L.

Here's the dilemma...

Do I go with the 70-200 2.8L II or 300 F/4L? I feel like the 70-200 overlaps too much but damn is it a beautiful lens.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Your sig already shows the 70-200 II....did you sell it?

70-300L?

How does it overlap too much? There's only one lens in your kit that shares a single focal length...

For your combination of shooting, I'd think the zoom would fit in better than the prime, though.

100-400 looks like a decent option. Any thoughts on it? Also the 70-300L looks decent too. Both aren't overly fast though but should suffice for outdoor sports/skiing etc. My thought on the 70-200 2.8L II with the 135 was that it was close in overall reach to the 135 (that's what I meant by overlap). A little extra reach would be nice, but the 70-200 is hard to beat!

The 100-400 is a fantastic lens (my most used, by far); unfortunately, I haven't used these on a FF body so I can't give too much advice on how those focal lengths work there. Some things to think about with it are:
Minimum Focus Distance is around 6ft
Push/Pull zoom mechanism isn't for everyone
It's large/long
For action (sports/etc) you either have to have a lot of light or a high ISO body to keep your shutter speeds up, appropriately
