This image was created around 30 mins before sunrise on Saturday. A challenging image at 800mm and only at 1/15 sec shutter speed. I have to thank my model for the cooperation!  Canon 1D MKIV, Canon 800mm L @ f/8, 1/15sec, ISO 640, 600EX-RT flash with Better Beamer and all in Manual mode. Thanks! Maxis Gamez

Trial and error is correct but you have to do it quickly before your subject flies away. Sometimes I move the bracket as well but every situation is different. Maxis Gamez
