There is a US seller on Ebay by the name of Emilyandlilly - they ship the (Neweer) ft-16s kit for $23.xx from US location - cheaper than buying just the receivers from big shops.

They must have sold out..they are selling it for $123.98 now :)

Yah, it's been like that for well over a week. A mistake, I'm sure.

I ve bought a lot of stuff from them - when they run out of stock, they raise the price so no new orders come in without having to remove the listing - as soon as they get those back in stock, the prices will go down again - take a look at the "xx sold" link there.

Just keep checking to see when its back in stock.

Are you asking if it can be used at full power? If so, yes....

I have no fear, because mine will be under warranty with cheetahstand. After the warranty is over with cheetahstand I can file under my personal articles policy.

You shouldn't have any problems, because Edward wont put his name on an items that has defects and he tests every thing before he sells it.

Hi my name is Scott and I am a Cheetah-holic

J/K I love Edward as well. Just something special about a guy who will call to make sure everything went well and you are happy.
I waited a what seemed like an eternity to get a Cheetah V850 instead of the neewer or godox brands because others here had told me it would be worth the wait.
I believe they were right , and now here I am waiting again after an ebay sale to get the V860 from cheetah instead of the godox or neewer. I wont ever spend the paypal from the sale until the new owner is past the return window. In case i have to give a refund.

Scoob, Cheetah-holic in waiting :)

I received mine today and so far so good with the Pocketwizards. The only bit of advice so far is not to overtighten the foot to your Flex. I have noticed that is the only time that its has misfired thus far. Other than that it is working fine with my Mini and AC3 on top of the camera.

Hi Druss,

am i reading it correctly it works with the pocket wizard tt1/tt5 system and the ac3, so can you control the power up and down with the ac3 and it's working properly?

also I might have missed it, where did you order it from? Cheetah?

if it does, is there a reason to keep my 600ex-rt vs this flash?

thank-you
Ray

Great news! I won't be able to test mine today. Looking forward to running it against the 580Ex II for power and speed. Sounds like we have a 580 equivalent with a better battery and recycles faster.

Hey Ray, to answer your question yes you can control the V 860Cs power with an AC3 it will work in A and M mode.

I purchased mine from CheetahStand

As for your 600EX, if you only have 1 unit then I would strongly consider it. But be advised if you need an on-camera flash I would consider keeping my 600EX, there is a slight weight difference. I am keeping my 580 EXII just for that reason alone.

The only drawback thusfar is that the zoom head is a little louder than the 580s so if you are in a quiet environment your best bet would be to manually select a zoom position and stick with it. Other than that I am strongly considering purchasing a couple more.
