This old train passes through forks of the credit in Ontario every once in awhile and I finally caught it.

This is what I usually shoot...... so it was a little slow for me, but I really enjoy just getting off of the track and shooting some good old trains and nature.

Stoppage is word to me so it passes in my poor English grammar skills lol. You don't want to much STOPPAGE because that will take the action away. In the train shot that was shot in aperture mode F8, and with all that sunlight I knew I would be in the 1000/s range, so no problem getting a sharp crisp shot there (STOPPAGE GOOD). Now the bike thing is a completely different beast. Hard to frame and things are moving much much faster. Shutter priority at 1/200 on the side shot, and 1/800 on the straight on shot. STOPPAGE BAD... and looks boring.

I like the way the engineer is side light. Nice touch!

I would like to see a looser crop on the left side though.
