Just in case anyone is not familiar with them. You can get cash back for orders placed from places such as Adorama (2%), Canon (3%) and other places - just check the alphabetical listing for participating retailers. You may as well get a few bucks back from your purchases.

I don't think that you can get the 4% Adorama lens rebate from Adorama, however, if you buy a lens through Mr. Rebates. Perhaps Helen can clarify.

My email is ...

Thanks

Not to be a debbie downer but providing your email considered a referral/spam and against forum rules. Just watching out for OP. I've been warned about that before.

You'll still get the 4% reward from Adorama. Typically, whatever the online store is offering, you'll always get. Its Mr. Rebates that has some exclusions and they tell you when you search for the store.

Yes, you can; any purchase via an official Adorama affiliate is as if purchased from Adorama, so customers are entitled to the same rewards as if purchasing from Adorama directly.

I'm great! Just fancied a change and came across this one - am going back in time as can be seen, my daughter is smaller!

You still get Adorama rewards.
But, if you use gift cards ( I think, even rewards) for any portion of your order, full Mr. Rebates cashback is cancelled. Mr. rebates reports the cashback and it is cancelled after ~2 months. This is based on my experience earlier this year.
One of my big cashback ( ~$120 for $3500-$4000 order) when the % was higher was cancelled because I apparently used a $50 gift certificate (that was actually given by adorama as part of an earlier order). I understand not giving cashback for gift certificate usage but a fair thing could be obviously cancelling the cashback for the gift certificate portion, not for full order.

The moral of story is that don't use your gift cards/reward credits when going though Mr. rebates and other cashback sites. Collect gift cards/reward credits and use them together for a small order. Lesson learned

Did you email Mr. Rebates customer service to confirm? That's wrong of them to cancel considering its not noted under Adorama. Usually they have a note (in red text) stating that any use of coupons outside of Mr Rebates or purchasing gift cards would void MR cashbacks. If that was the case, I would of just cancelled my order and reordered without the gift card. I'll give up not using my $50 and get back $120.

Yes, this is correct - but according to our marketing team, "we are working to correct it to only deduct the giftcard/reward amount"

Also, please note that we honor the commission by approving the order inquiries, so if cashback was corrected due to giftcard/rewards, you should submit a claim via Mr rebates for the total order, minus ship, tax, giftcard amount
